Description

The Coniston is a 250mm flush ceiling light with cascading tiers of faceted clear crystal arranged in a rounded formation beneath a French gold canopy. Three G9 bulbs inside the crystal structure (sold separately) cast light through multiple layers of faceted glass, creating diffused sparkle and refracted patterns on surrounding surfaces. The flush mounting sits close to the ceiling with a total drop of 240mm, making it suitable for bathrooms, cloakrooms and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m.

Rated IP44 for moisture protection, the Coniston is suitable for bathroom zone 2 — areas outside the shower enclosure or bathtub zone where water spray may occur. The French gold finish on the metal canopy and internal frame provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass taps, warm-toned tiles and natural stone surfaces. The crystal tiers are arranged to allow light to escape both downwards and outwards, illuminating mirrors, vanity areas and wall tiles without creating harsh shadows.

Each crystal element is faceted to catch and refract light, so the fitting appears to change character depending on the bulb colour temperature chosen. Warm-white G9 LEDs at 2700-3000K emphasise the gold tones and create a softer ambient effect, while daylight-white bulbs at 4000K give a cleaner, brighter task light suitable for morning routines. The 3.75kg weight requires secure ceiling fixings into a joist or solid substrate — the canopy diameter is 250mm, providing adequate spread for fixing points.

Can it be dimmed?
