Designed for hallways, reading corners beside armchairs, and pairs flanking mirrors or doorways, the Coniston works in rooms where a traditional aesthetic needs a small-scale accent rather than a dominant fitting. The antique brass finish provides a warmer, more weathered alternative to polished brass or chrome, pairing naturally with timber panelling, aged metals and warm-toned fabrics. The Coniston takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W warm white LED candle bulb at 2700K-3000K for ambient hallway or reading light.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit a dimmable E14 bulb and pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. The fixture itself does not include dimming electronics, so dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulb choice.

How far does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects 160mm from the wall surface to the furthest point of the crystal tier. This makes it suitable for hallways and alcoves where projection is limited, but it will protrude noticeably in narrow corridors under 900mm wide.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulb to cool completely. Wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the brass frame or allowing water to run into the lampholder. Do not use glass cleaners or chemical sprays on the crystals.
