Description

The City is a 650mm square LED flush ceiling light with a central polished chrome panel surrounded by an angled opal white acrylic diffuser. An integrated 28W LED panel sits behind the diffuser, delivering 2800 lumens at 3000K warm white across the full square footprint. The 85mm profile sits close to the ceiling, making it suitable for standard-height rooms where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, home offices and kitchens with ceiling heights between 2.3-2.6m, the City provides general ambient lighting across areas up to 15-18m². The square geometry fits cleanly into modern interiors with rectilinear furniture and architectural detailing, while the polished chrome centre panel adds a reflective accent that catches daylight and lamp light from other sources in the room. The opal diffuser conceals the LED array and spreads light evenly without visible hotspots.

The angled diffuser steps down from the outer edge towards the centre chrome panel, creating a shallow geometric relief that gives the fitting visual depth when viewed from below or at an angle. The polished chrome finish on the centre panel is mirror-bright and pairs with modern chrome door furniture, radiators and other metallic accents in a contemporary scheme. At 2.5kg the fitting is lightweight enough to mount directly to a standard plasterboard ceiling with appropriate fixings.

The 28W LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V mains. The fitting carries a 3-year warranty from Mantra and is manufactured in Spain.

Yes. The 85mm profile sits close to the ceiling, making it suitable for standard UK ceiling heights of 2.3-2.6m where a pendant or semi-flush would reduce headroom. The fitting works well in hallways, bedrooms and home offices with limited ceiling clearance.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated 28W LED is non-dimmable. If dimming is required, consider a different fitting from the Mantra range with dimmer-compatible LED or a non-integrated LED lamp socket.

What room size does the 2800lm output suit?

The 2800 lumens at 3000K provides general ambient lighting for rooms up to approximately 15-18m². For larger spaces or for task-intensive areas like kitchens, additional lighting or multiple fittings may be needed.

How is the chrome panel cleaned?

Wipe the polished chrome panel with a soft microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works well. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that can scratch the chrome finish. The opal diffuser can be cleaned with a damp cloth when the power is isolated.
