Description

The Citronic ViPAR is a battery-powered PAR uplighter built for events where running mains cables isn't practical. Six 18W RGBWA/UV LEDs mix red, green, blue, white, amber and UV to give you over 16.7 million colour options, so you can wash walls and ceilings in whatever tone the room calls for. The internal 9600mAH lithium-ion battery runs for up to 18 hours on a single colour, dropping to around 7 hours on auto shows and 3 hours at full power, then recharges from flat in about 5 hours.

You can control the ViPAR in several ways to suit how you work. There's an integrated colour control panel on the unit, an IR remote (with a CR2025 battery included), app control over WiFi for Apple and Android devices, and wired or wireless DMX for larger rigs. Modes cover pre-programmed auto shows, sound to light, master/slave linking and static colour, running on 6 or 10 DMX channels depending on how much control you need. The 25 degree beam angle gives a focused wash for uplighting.

The rugged metal housing has a strong carry handle and an adjustable footplate that lets you set several angles, so it works flat on the floor or tilted up a wall. Twist and lock power connections make daisy-chaining units feel secure and professional, with DMX in and out on 3-pin XLR. At 140 x 140 x 195mm and 2.64kg, it's easy to position anywhere and pack away between jobs. Power consumption is 75W. It's a practical, portable fixture for weddings, functions and mobile setups.
