Description

The Citronic MIDI600 is a 6.0m MIDI lead built for connecting music controllers, synths, drum machines and other devices that use the 5-pin DIN standard. It fits a plug at each end, so you can run signal between two pieces of gear with a single cable and no adaptors. The 180° 5-pin DIN plugs are a pro-quality fitting that sits securely in the socket and keeps the connection stable during use.

Inside, the cable uses five conductors, each made from 10 strands of 0.1mm pure copper. That construction keeps the lead flexible enough to route around a desk or rack while still holding up to regular plugging and unplugging. Low-loss conductors and global shielding help keep the data stream clean, so note messages, clock and other MIDI information pass through without interference from nearby power leads or lighting.

The cable measures 5.0mm in diameter, giving it a bit of weight and durability without being stiff or awkward to coil. At 6.0m it suits studio setups where the controller and sound module sit apart, as well as live rigs where you need a little extra reach. If you work with older or classic hardware that relies on standard MIDI rather than USB, this is a straightforward lead that does the job and keeps working.
