Description

The Cintura Large is a 1500mm linear island pendant light built around an elongated oval ring of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended from a brown copper top bar by four soft brown leather straps. An integrated 76W LED runs through the alabaster sections at 3000K, lighting the stone from within so the ring itself becomes the diffuser rather than a hidden bulb behind a shade.

Designed for kitchen islands, long dining tables and open-plan entrance halls, the 1500mm x 400mm footprint matches a 6-8 seat dining table or a standard 1.8-2.4m kitchen island. The 1500mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, allowing the ring to be set 750-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table. The narrow 100mm section depth keeps the fitting visually light despite its overall length.

The oval is assembled from rounded alabaster stone segments, each showing different mineral veining, set into a solid copper internal frame. The leather straps are stitched and capped with small brass fittings where they meet the ring, giving a saddle-style detail rather than a hidden mechanical fixing. The combination of stone, copper and leather gives the Cintura a layered material palette that suits warm contemporary interiors, plaster-finished walls and timber kitchens.

At 1500mm long and 400mm wide, the Cintura Large suits dining tables of 1.8-2.4m seating six to eight, or kitchen islands of similar length. For shorter tables a smaller fitting will sit better in proportion.

The 1500mm cable drop is adjustable on installation. Above an island the ring typically sits 750-900mm above the worktop, which works in rooms with ceilings of 2.4m or higher. The cable can be shortened during fitting for lower ceilings.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated 76W LED runs at 230V mains and 3000K. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each stone segment is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual rings. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.
