Description

The Cinto is a 1035mm semi-flush ceiling light built around six curved metal arms radiating from a central antique brass hub, each arm housing an integrated LED strip that casts 3000K warm white light along its length. The six arms intersect and loop in an asymmetric pattern, creating a sculptural ceiling presence that combines ambient lighting with a decorative focal point.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Cinto sits 290mm below the ceiling rose, projecting into the room without the drop length of a pendant. The 1035mm span suits rooms where a single central fitting needs to light a 4-5m space without adding wall lights. The semi-flush mount means the fitting sits closer to the ceiling than a chandelier but lower than a flush mount, giving the loops room to cast their own shadows against the ceiling plane.

The antique brass finish is applied to solid metal tubing bent into each arm's shape, then sealed to slow natural tarnishing. The finish shows slight tonal variation across the surface, darker in the recesses where the loops meet and lighter on the raised edges — this is part of the antique treatment rather than inconsistency between fittings. The integrated LEDs cannot be replaced individually; the entire fitting operates as a single 42W 3360lm light source at 3000K, roughly equivalent to six 7W bulbs but distributed along the arm length rather than concentrated at points.

At 3.35kg the fitting requires a ceiling rose rated for at least 5kg and fixing into solid ceiling material or joists — plasterboard alone will not support the weight. The arms are pre-wired during manufacture and cannot be repositioned after installation.

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 42W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The 3360lm output is constant when the fitting is switched on.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting projects 290mm below the ceiling rose, so a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m is recommended to maintain comfortable headroom underneath. The 1035mm diameter suits rooms where the ceiling is 4-5m across.

Can the LED be replaced if it fails?

The LEDs are integrated into the metal arms and cannot be replaced individually. If an LED section fails within the 3-year warranty period, Mantra will handle the claim through the retailer. Outside warranty, the entire fitting would need replacing.

What fixing strength is required?

The 3.35kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for at least 5kg, with fixings into solid ceiling material or timber joists. Plasterboard-only fixings will not hold the weight safely — an installer must locate and fix into structural ceiling members.
