Description
The Christina is a 2 light wall light with curved metal arms finished in silver/gold patina, two cut glass sconces, and tear-drop crystal pendants suspended beneath each arm. Each arm holds an E14 candle bulb (sold separately), and the central backplate is decorated with a raised laurel leaf motif encircling a textile-patterned panel. The two vertical tubes extending from the backplate give the fitting a symmetrical upright proportion.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms, the Christina pairs with mirrors, flanks doorways, or works as accent lighting on feature walls. The 140mm projection from the wall and 295mm height suit standard 2.4m ceiling heights without the fitting overwhelming narrower hallways. The dual-tone patina finish — silver base with warmer gold highlights on raised details — works with both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors, and the crystal drops add visual interest without the weight of a full chandelier.
The cut glass sconces diffuse light from the candle bulbs and reduce direct glare, making the Christina suitable for positions at or near eye level. The crystal drops are facet-cut to catch and refract light when the bulbs are on, and the patina finish on the metalwork has a low-sheen satin texture that softens reflections. The fitting weighs approximately 1.2kg and mounts to a standard UK wall box with the backplate concealing fixings.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Christina take?
The fitting takes two E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs up to 60W maximum per bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) at 4-6W for a soft ambient glow.
Can it be used on a dimmer switch?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you choose. If you select dimmable E14 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer, the Christina can be dimmed. The fitting itself has no electronic components that would prevent dimming.
What rooms is it suited to?
The Christina works in hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms and dressing areas. The 140mm projection and 295mm height suit positions where the fitting is viewed at or near eye level, such as flanking a mirror or either side of a doorway.
Does it match other fittings in the Christina range?
Yes. Elstead produces the Christina in larger chandelier configurations with the same silver/gold patina finish, cut glass sconces and crystal drops. The wall light can be used alongside the chandelier to carry the same design language through a home.
