Description

The Christie wall light comes in a satin nickel finish and pairs a soft, off-white cotton shade with a built-in LED directional reading light. The main lamp sits behind the shade, while the slim reading light can be angled to point exactly where you need it. The off-white cotton shade is included in the price, and the two E27 and LED lamps are not supplied. Two switches on the backplate let you control each light on its own, so you can use the reading light alone or add the wider glow of the main lamp.

The fitting measures 350mm high and 200mm wide, with a weight of 0.80kg. It takes two lamps with an E27 and LED cap, rated up to 15W each and a maximum fitting wattage of 18W. The colour temperature is 3000K, giving a warm, restful light. This light is non-dimmable and carries an IP20 rating, so it is suited to interior use in dry rooms. It is Class 1 and must be earthed, so we suggest fitting by a qualified electrician. For projects, the same light is offered with the E27 lamp left unswitched, controlled instead by a normal wall switch, while the LED reading light stays independently switched.
