The tamper-resistant cover secures with a security Torx screw, preventing unauthorised adjustment in rental properties, shared spaces, or commercial settings. The thermostat allows temperature swing adjustment between 0.5°C and 1°C, controlling how much the room temperature can drop below the set point before the heating activates, and how far above it must rise before switching off. A tighter 0.5°C swing keeps room temperature more stable but may cycle the heating more frequently, while a 1°C swing reduces cycling at the cost of slightly wider temperature variation. The electronic sensor responds faster than traditional bimetal strip thermostats, improving efficiency in spaces that experience rapid temperature changes.
