Description

The Charis is a 300mm-wide wall light with two curved frosted glass panels set within a polished chrome backplate, trimmed with rows of small cut crystal cones along the top and bottom edges. Each panel houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately) behind the frosted glass, which diffuses the light across the wall. An integrated rocker switch on the backplate allows the light to be controlled without reaching for a separate wall switch.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where a decorative wall light with local switching adds convenience, the Charis pairs ambient light with enough crystal detail to catch and reflect light without dominating a wall. The 100mm projection from the wall suits positions above bedside tables, flanking mirrors or along corridor walls where a slim profile keeps walkways clear. The frosted glass panels soften the light output and hide the bulb filaments from direct view.

The polished chrome finish on the backplate and frame reflects surrounding light and pairs comfortably with cooler metallic fixtures, modern bathrooms (check IP rating suitability) and contemporary or traditional interiors that mix chrome and glass. The silver-edged detailing on the frosted glass panels gives definition to each curved section, and the crystal cones add a controlled amount of sparkle without the full cascade effect of a larger crystal chandelier. Does the integrated switch replace a wall switch?

No. The integrated rocker switch on the backplate allows you to turn the light on or off without walking to the wall switch, but the fitting still requires mains wiring to a switched circuit. What wall fixings are needed?
