The 100mm projection from the wall suits positions above bedside tables, flanking mirrors or along corridor walls where a slim profile keeps walkways clear. Is the Charis dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and the wall circuit is controlled by a compatible dimmer switch. The integrated switch on the backplate is a standard on/off rocker — dimming control comes from the wall switch, not the fitting itself.

Does the integrated switch replace a wall switch?

No. The integrated rocker switch on the backplate allows you to turn the light on or off without walking to the wall switch, but the fitting still requires mains wiring to a switched circuit. The on-board switch is a convenience feature for bedside or hallway use, not a replacement for proper electrical installation.

What wall fixings are needed?

At 0.9kg the Charis can be mounted on plasterboard with appropriate wall plugs rated for the wall type, or directly into masonry or wooden studs with matching screws. The backplate has two fixing points. Ensure the wall can support the weight and that the fixing method suits the wall construction.
