Description

The Charis is a single-lamp wall fitting with a polished chrome backplate, curved frosted glass panels and faceted crystal accents along the outer edge. The glass forms a curved shield that flattens towards the centre, creating a three-dimensional profile that projects 100mm from the wall. A single G9 bulb sits behind the frosted glass, diffusing light across the panel and illuminating the crystals along the perimeter.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where decorative accent lighting is needed, the Charis works in traditional and contemporary settings that pair warm metallics with glass and crystal detailing. The 140mm width and 160mm height suit narrow wall spaces between doorways, flanking mirrors, or grouped in pairs either side of a headboard. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light during the day and the frosted glass softens direct glare from the bulb at night.

The glass panels show a silver-lined edge detail where the frosting meets the clear glass border, giving definition to the curved profile. The crystal accents are individual faceted cones mounted along the top edge of the glass, catching and refracting light from the G9 bulb behind. At 0.45kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard walls using appropriate fixings. The chrome backplate conceals the mounting screws and houses the lampholder.

What bulb does it take?

The Charis takes one G9 capsule bulb up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a G9 LED between 2-4W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light. The frosted glass diffuses the light source, so filament-style G9 bulbs work well if you want visible detail.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check bulb compatibility with your dimmer before purchasing.

Can it be fitted to plasterboard walls?

Yes. At 0.45kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard using appropriate cavity fixings or wall anchors. Ensure the fixings are rated for at least 2kg to provide adequate safety margin.
