Description
The Cellar Left is a 2-light wall fitting with an asymmetrical matt black frame supporting two opal glass globes on opposing arms. Each globe houses a replaceable 5W LED G4 module running at 4000K cool white, providing functional task lighting rather than ambient warmth. The left-facing configuration places one globe higher and one lower on a vertical axis, creating visual balance on walls where symmetry is unwanted.
Designed for hallways, home offices, bathrooms and bedrooms where directed task light is needed, the Cellar Left projects 145mm from the wall and spreads 280mm vertically. The 4000K colour temperature produces a clean, neutral white light closer to daylight than the warm 2700K-3000K range common in decorative lighting, making it better suited to bathrooms, kitchens and work areas than living rooms or bedrooms where warmer tones are typically preferred. The opal glass diffuses the LED point sources, preventing glare when the fitting is mounted at head height.
The matt black metal frame and circular wall plate conceal the wiring and fixing hardware, presenting a minimal visual profile when viewed from the side. The LED modules are replaceable rather than permanently sealed, allowing individual modules to be swapped if one fails without replacing the entire fitting. At 480g the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard with standard cavity fixings. The Cellar is also available in a right-facing version (mirror image) for paired installation on opposite walls or either side of a doorway.

Frequently Asked
Is this dimmable?
No. The Cellar Left is rated as non-dimmable. Connecting it to a dimmer switch may cause flickering or damage to the LED modules.
What's the difference between the left and right versions?
The Cellar Left and Cellar Right are mirror images of each other. The Left version places the upper globe to the left when facing the wall, the Right places it to the right. They're designed for paired installation on opposite walls or either side of a door or mirror.
Can the LED modules be replaced?
Yes. The fitting uses standard G4 LED modules that can be replaced individually if one fails. This extends the usable life of the fitting beyond the LED lifespan and avoids the need to replace the entire unit.
What colour temperature is 4000K?
4000K is a cool white or neutral white, closer to daylight than the warm white (2700K-3000K) used in most decorative lighting. It produces a clean, slightly blue-toned light better suited to task lighting in bathrooms, kitchens and offices than to ambient lighting in living rooms or bedrooms.
