Description
This ESP CCTV warning sign measures 300 x 420mm and carries the standard UK CCTV notification wording: 'Images and/or sound are being recorded for the purpose of crime prevention and your personal safety'. The sign is printed in black text on a high-visibility yellow background with a black-and-yellow chequerboard border, meeting the visual requirements for CCTV notification signage under UK data protection guidance.
The sign includes two blank fields at the bottom where the system operator's name and contact telephone number can be handwritten or labelled, allowing compliance with GDPR requirements to identify the data controller. Four pre-drilled mounting holes (one in each corner) allow the sign to be screwed directly to walls, fences, gates or posts without additional brackets. The 3mm thickness gives rigidity in outdoor installations where the sign may be exposed to wind or weathering.
The yellow polypropylene material is fade-resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. At 300 x 420mm the sign is large enough to be read from several metres away, making it suitable for car parks, building entrances, retail forecourts, warehouse yards and perimeter fences where CCTV cameras are in operation. The sign weighs 180g, light enough to mount on chain-link fencing or timber posts without additional support.

Frequently Asked
Is this sign weatherproof for outdoor use?
Yes. The polypropylene material is fade-resistant and designed for outdoor installation. The sign can be mounted on external walls, fences, gates and posts exposed to UK weather conditions.
How do I fill in the operator details?
The two blank white fields at the bottom of the sign can be filled in using a permanent marker or by applying printed adhesive labels with the system operator's name and contact telephone number.
What fixings are needed?
The sign has four pre-drilled mounting holes, one in each corner. Use No.8 or 4mm diameter screws with wall plugs for masonry, or self-tapping screws for timber or metal posts. Fixings are not included.
Does this meet GDPR requirements for CCTV signage?
The sign carries the standard wording required under UK CCTV codes of practice, and provides blank fields for the data controller's identity and contact details as required by GDPR. Completing these fields makes the sign compliant with UK data protection notification requirements.
