Description

A fabric braided flex in green, with the two conductors twisted around one another so the pair reads as a single decorative cord rather than a plain lead. The woven outer gives it a soft, slightly textured surface and a warm depth of colour that plain PVC never manages. It is a 0.75mm two core cable, VDE approved, and whatever length you order arrives as one continuous run rather than cut pieces.

This is the cable to choose when the drop is part of the look: hanging pendants, rewiring a favourite table lamp, floor lamps where the trailing lead is on show, and shopfitting or workshop projects that want a bit of colour running down from above. We keep the braided flexes on the shelf precisely because customers so often find the standard black lead spoils an otherwise good fitting, and green is the one we reach for alongside brass, dark timber and deep painted walls, or in a kitchen and garden room where it can pick up planting.

The braid is woven over the insulated cores, which keeps the twist tidy and stops the outer sliding along the run. Colour goes right through the weave, so it stays even along the length.
