Description

A slim horizontal bar holds four E27 lampholders in satin nickel, evenly spaced along a run of about 1.2m. It comes as a frame only, so the shades are yours to choose, and the drop adjusts across a generous span to sit low over furniture or ride higher in a tall room. Fit dimmable lamps and pair them with a compatible dimmer and the output can be brought down for the evening.

This is the shape we reach for over a dining table or a kitchen island, where a single round pendant lights the middle and leaves the ends of the run in shadow. Four small shades in a line spread the light along the surface instead of pooling it. It works equally well above a long console in an open plan room, or over a run of worktop in a galley kitchen. Because the shades are bought to suit, you can keep the look quiet with plain fabric drums or go bolder with glass, then change your mind later without changing the fitting.

The bar and lampholders share the same soft satin nickel, a finish that reads warmer than chrome and hides fingerprints well. Dust it with a dry cloth from time to time and keep polishes and sprays away from the nickel. Wire it into dry indoor rooms only; steamy bathrooms and covered porches are not for it, and it needs an earth connection. It carries a one year warranty. We hold the linear frame in three finishes, and the same universal fitting runs through the range as round pendants and flush ceiling fittings, so a hallway and a dining room can be matched without hunting. Shades and lamps are chosen and bought separately.

Are the shades included?

No. This is supplied as a frame only, which is the point of it: you pick four shades with an E27 fitting to suit your room and swap them later if you want a different look.
