Description

A shallow circular frame in antique gold, with three lampholders set evenly around a 40cm plate that sits close to the ceiling. It comes as a frame only, so the shades are yours to pick: three matching drums for something neat and ordered, or a looser mix of fabrics if the room asks for it. Each holder takes an E27 lamp of up to 20W, which in LED terms gives plenty of light for a good sized room. Dimming is possible where the lamps and the dimmer are chosen to suit one another.

This is the fitting we suggest when a pendant would hang too low to live with: hallways and landings, bedrooms, a small dining room, or the sitting room of a flat with a modest ceiling height. Because you choose the shades, it suits anyone decorating around something already in the room, whether that is a fabric, a paint colour or a metal they want picked up overhead. We stock the same frame in three finishes at this size, so it can follow the door furniture rather than fight it.

The antique gold is warm and softly aged rather than bright, and the frame is shallow enough that the shades do most of the visual work. Keep it looking well by running a dry cloth over the ring and the holders whenever you change a lamp; in a kitchen, a cloth barely damp with warm water will lift any cooking film, with the switch off and everything cool first. It is intended for dry rooms indoors, well clear of splashes and steam. It carries a one year warranty. Polished chrome and satin nickel are offered alongside it, along with a smaller single-light frame and round and linear pendant versions if you want the look repeated elsewhere in the house.
