Description

A small, plain wall light in a soft satin nickel, sold without a shade so the final look is yours to set. The fitting is compact, 11cm across and reaching only a short way from the wall, which keeps it tidy in a narrow space. It takes an E27 lamp, up to 20W, and will dim if you pair a dimmable lamp with a compatible dimmer. There is no switch on the body, so it works from the wall switch or the circuit it sits on.

We reach for this one where a light needs to sit quietly in a scheme rather than lead it: a pair either side of a bed, a run along a landing, or beside a mirror. Because the shade is your choice, it suits restrained and bolder rooms alike, as a fabric drum softens a bedroom while glass or metal gives a sharper look in a hallway. It belongs in dry rooms indoors, away from splashes and steam, and runs on ordinary household mains with an earth connection. We would fit an LED lamp chosen to suit whichever shade you settle on.

The satin nickel finish has a low, even sheen that sits happily alongside brushed switch plates and sockets.
