Description

The Camden is a 2-light wall fixture built around a rose gold mosaic glass shade with five rows of cascading cut crystal strands below. The shade is composed of individual glass tiles in varying tones of rose gold, copper and amber, each tile catching and reflecting light differently. Behind the mosaic sits a concealed metal frame housing two G9 bulb holders (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for hallways, dining rooms and bedrooms where decorative and ambient light are both needed, the Camden mounts flush to the wall with a 125mm projection from the backplate. The 290mm height and 200mm width suit standard ceiling heights of 2.4m and above, typically positioned at 1.6-1.8m from floor level to keep the crystal strands within view but above head height in circulation areas. The twin G9 bulbs provide enough output for accent lighting, supplemented by other fixtures for task or general illumination.

The mosaic glass tiles are set in a metal grid that holds them rigid without grout, giving a clean geometric pattern when unlit and a warm fragmented glow when the bulbs are on. The crystal strands are faceted K9 glass beads on wire, graduating in size from smaller beads at the top to larger octagonal-cut beads at the lowest points. The rose gold finish on the backplate and frame is a brushed PVD coating that resists tarnishing and pairs with warm-toned interiors, copper accents and both dark and neutral wall colours.

What bulbs does the Camden take?

The fixture takes two G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2.5-4W and 2700K-3000K for ambient accent lighting.

Is the Camden dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself does not include dimming electronics, so dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs you choose.

How is the Camden mounted?

The fixture mounts to a standard UK wall box or directly to a solid wall surface using the supplied backplate. All electrical connections are made behind the backplate, which is then concealed when the mosaic shade assembly is clipped into place. The 125mm projection from the wall includes the full depth of the shade and crystal strands.

Can the crystal strands be removed or adjusted?

The crystal strands are pre-wired to the frame and cannot be removed without disassembly. They are fixed in length and position, designed to hang as shown in the product image.
