Description

The Feiss Cadence is a 330mm pendant light with a matte black dome shade and a dark antique brass riveted centre band, suspended on a square-linked chain from a matching dark antique brass canopy. Two E27 bulb fittings inside the shade cast light downward through a frosted glass diffuser at the base, delivering focused task or ambient light depending on the bulbs chosen.

Designed for kitchens, dining tables and work areas where directed light is needed without filling the full height of the room, the Cadence's 483mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceilings, with the 1524mm chain allowing extension to 2007mm for higher spaces or to position the pendant at the correct height above a worktop or table. The vented top of the shade allows heat from the bulbs to dissipate while adding a warehouse aesthetic detail.

The dark antique brass finish carries a warm, slightly aged tone that pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes, while the riveted band and square chain links reference industrial factory and warehouse lighting from the early 20th century. The matte black shade provides a tonal contrast against the brass without introducing high-contrast reflections, and the frosted glass diffuser softens the light output to reduce glare on work surfaces below.

What bulbs does the Cadence take?

Two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations pair this with warm-white LED bulbs in the 6-10W range and 2700K-3000K colour temperature for domestic use.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is adjustable on installation by shortening the chain to suit ceiling height and the desired position above a table or worktop. Once fitted and wired, the height cannot be adjusted without re-wiring.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 483mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceilings when hung above a dining table or kitchen island. Higher ceilings can accommodate the full 2007mm drop by using the complete chain length supplied.

Is it suitable for sloped ceilings?

The ceiling canopy is designed for flat ceilings. Sloped or vaulted ceilings require an additional sloped ceiling adapter, which is not included and must be purchased separately.
