Description

Textile Cable Roll 25m is a reel of flex in black. A reel of round flex wound in tight even coils between two plain end discs, the upper one white and the lower one pale, with a small steel boss at the centre of the top. The cable is sheathed in a woven black textile, and the weave shows clearly as a fine diagonal grain across every turn. The discs are flat and unmarked and hold the coil square. Nothing else is on the reel. It is sold as a length to be cut, not as a finished part.

It is sold by the reel rather than by the metre, so a run is cut to the drop you need and made up with a holder and a ceiling rose. It is a part rather than a finished fitting, so it is bought alongside whatever it is going to carry or connect to rather than on its own. That is the point of buying the pieces separately: the shade, the flex and the holder are each chosen on their own, and a run can be made up to a length and a drop that no finished pendant would give you.

It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms.
