Description

This is a broad, low-profile ceiling light with a fan built into it, so a single ceiling point covers both jobs. The light is an integrated LED at 20W, dimmable by remote and tuneable from a warm evening glow through to crisp daylight. The blades span 150cm and reverse, giving downward airflow in summer and gentler circulation in the colder months. Control is by handset or app, so brightness, colour temperature and fan speed can all be set without getting up.

We would fit this in a room where the ceiling has to earn its keep: an open-plan kitchen-diner, a loft bedroom that bakes in July, a garden room with plenty of glass. The width asks for space, so give it a generous room with decent height rather than a narrow landing. Being splash rated, it also copes with the damper air of a bathroom or a covered veranda. It suits anyone who would rather not run a separate fan and light, and anyone who likes adjusting a room from the sofa.

Body and blades are finished in white throughout, which keeps the fitting quiet against a pale ceiling.
