Description

The Bon is a 40cm white glass pendant light built around a stacked decorative finial: a turned natural wooden ball, a glossy pink ceramic capsule, and a polished copper bow at the top where the cable enters. Below sits a wide bell-shaped white glass shade with a glossy finish, housing a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The 150cm black fabric cable is adjustable on installation.

The bell shade measures 40cm in diameter and 38cm in height, making the Bon suited to dining tables, breakfast bars and kitchen islands where a single decorative pendant carries the room. Hung individually it works above a circular café table or bedside; in pairs or threes it lines up well across a 1.8-2.4m island. The glossy white glass directs light downwards onto the surface below while the inner reflection keeps the shade itself softly lit.

The mix of materials is what sets the Bon apart from plain white pendants in the same size bracket. The natural wooden sphere and pink ceramic capsule introduce warmth and a single accent colour, while the copper bow at the canopy picks up the pink tones and adds metallic contrast against the matte black cable. What bulb does the Bon take?

The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. An E27 GLS filament bulb suits the decorative profile, but any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb within the lampholder rating can be used. For dining and kitchen island use, a 6-10W warm-white LED at 2700K-3000K is a common choice.

What size space does it suit?

At 40cm in diameter and 38cm tall, the Bon works well as a single pendant above a circular dining or café table, a breakfast bar position, or a bedside. For a kitchen island of 1.8-2.4m, two or three Bons spaced evenly along the run give consistent task light without crowding.

Can the cable be shortened?

Yes. The 150cm black fabric cable is adjusted on installation to set the drop height. For a dining table or island the shade typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, so the cable is shortened during fitting to the ceiling height of the room.

How is the white glass shade cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow any bulb to cool. Wipe the glossy white glass with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with a small amount of mild glass cleaner is fine on the shade itself. Avoid getting the wooden ball wet, as the natural wood is best cleaned with a dry cloth only.
