A wide, shallow drum in taupe faux silk sits close to the ceiling on a satin nickel frame, with a halo gold lining inside that warms the light as it spreads. Across 50cm it reads as a broad, quiet circle rather than something that pulls the eye upward. A frosted acrylic diffuser closes the underside, so the lamp behind it stays hidden and the downward light is softened. It takes a single E27 lamp, and with a compatible lamp and dimmer the brightness can be brought down.

Is the gold a separate finish option?

No. The halo gold is the lining inside the taupe shade, so you see it as a warm glow rather than as an outer colour.

How do I clean the fabric shade?

Switch off at the wall and let the lamp cool, then lift dust away with a soft brush. Avoid sprays and solvents on the faux silk.

Will 50cm be too wide for a small hallway?

It is a large fitting, so allow for the width across a narrow hall. In tighter spaces the 12cm Baymont semi flush fixtures give the same look at a smaller scale.
