Description

A polished chrome pendant built on a long horizontal line rather than a single central drop, with three E27 lamps sitting under a faux silk shade in grey. The shade is lined in white laminate, which bounces the light back down and keeps the tone soft rather than cool. At 40cm the shade has presence without crowding a room, and the chrome reads bright and clean against it. The drop adjusts over a wide span, so it can sit high and discreet or low and close over a table.

We reach for this where a table is long and a single pendant would leave the ends dim: a kitchen island, a run of worktop, a dining table with several chairs down each side. We would fit LED GLS lamps rated up to 20W each, and if you want the level to come down of an evening, dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer will manage it. Neither lamps nor a dimmer are included. Dry indoor rooms are its place: hallways, landings, living rooms and kitchens, though not where steam collects.

The frame is metal, polished to a bright chrome, and the shade is faux silk over a white laminate liner. It carries a one year warranty. For care, a soft brush or the upholstery head of a vacuum lifts dust from the faux silk, while the chrome comes back with a barely damp cloth and a dry one straight after. Nothing abrasive, and give the lamps time to cool before handling them.
