Bano Medium Dimmable LED Crystal Chain Wall Light - Chrome

The Bano Medium is a 500mm crystal chain wall light with cascading strands of clear cut crystal droplets suspended from a polished chrome rectangular backplate. An integrated 9W LED behind the chrome housing casts 4000K cool white light through the crystal strands, producing 1160 lumens at full output. The LED is dimmable with a suitable trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer switch.

Designed for bedroom feature walls, dining room alcoves and hallway accent lighting, the Bano Medium provides decorative wash light rather than task illumination. The 280mm drop positions the bottom of the crystal curtain approximately 250mm from the wall, creating depth and allowing the individual crystal beads to catch and refract light independently. The 500mm width suits wall sections between doorways, above console tables, or flanking a headboard in pairs.

Each crystal droplet is individually faceted and hangs on a concealed wire strand, so the entire fitting shimmers with ambient air movement and changes character as viewing angle shifts. The polished chrome backplate measures 500mm x 90mm x 90mm projection, fitting standard UK wall wiring without requiring a dedicated junction box. The crystal strands hang in alternating lengths, creating a waterfall effect where the central strands drop further than the outer ones.

The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight white (5000K+), producing a neutral white that reads as neither warm nor cool under evening conditions. This makes the Bano suitable for interiors where the surrounding palette includes both warm metallics and cool greys. The 120-degree beam angle disperses light widely rather than projecting it forward, making the fitting function as decorative ambient light rather than directed task light.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Wipe individual crystal droplets gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For heavier marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or allowing water to run into the chrome backplate housing.
