Description

The Ava Circular is a 300mm wide crystal wall light built from polished chrome rings set with hundreds of individually hand-placed octagon crystals. Two G9 bulbs sit behind the crystal-covered frame, casting light through and around the faceted glass to create refracted highlights across walls and ceilings. The 140mm projection from the wall gives the fitting depth without extending too far into the room.

Designed for hallways, living room accent walls, and bedroom feature lighting where decorative and ambient lighting combine, the Ava pairs traditional crystal detailing with a cleaner geometric frame than classical chandeliers. The circular profile softens corners and tall narrow wall sections, while the polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with both cool-toned contemporary interiors and warmer brass or gold accents elsewhere in the room. The 150mm overall height suits standard ceiling heights of 2.4m and above without overwhelming smaller hallway widths.

Each octagon crystal is hand-set onto the chrome rings during assembly, so slight variation in positioning between individual fittings is normal. The combined weight of the chrome frame and crystals totals 0.8kg, requiring secure fixing into solid wall or a reinforced plasterboard anchor. The fitting is rated for 2x 33W G9 bulbs maximum, though most users pair it with LED G9 bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light with lower running costs.

The Ava takes two G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient lighting with low energy consumption.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker if used with a dimmer.

How far does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects 140mm from the wall surface once installed. This gives depth to the crystals without extending too far into narrow hallways or beside doorways.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Turn off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or using chemical sprays that can tarnish chrome or leave residue on the crystals.
