The Aura wall light is made from cast aluminium in a dark grey charcoal finish. It sends light in two directions, up and down, giving a clean wash across the wall above and below the fitting. The form is compact and upright, with a matt surface that sits quietly against brick, render or stone. As part of our Aura range, it suits both interior and exterior settings, and its shape stays neat without drawing attention to itself.

The fitting measures 150mm in height and 70mm in width, with a weight of 0.60kg. It takes 2 x GU10 lamps, which are not supplied, so you can choose the beam and warmth to suit the spot. Maximum wattage is 10W per lamp and 20W in total, giving up to 1150 lumens at a warm 2700K. The light is dimmable when paired with a compatible lamp and dimmer switch. It is rated IP44, so it copes with splashing and general weather, and it is a Class 1 fitting that requires an earth connection, which means installation by a qualified electrician.

This light works well beside a front door, along a path or across a patio wall, and it is equally at home indoors where a bi-directional glow is wanted. The bi-directional throw makes it a good choice for framing an entrance or marking out a run of wall. You buy it from us on its own, with GU10 lamps ordered separately if you need them.
