The Atla is a 450mm diameter crystal chandelier built on a circular polished chrome frame supporting eight G9 bulb positions, each surrounded by cascading clear Asfour crystal spheres arranged in a tiered formation. The crystals hang at staggered depths below the chrome ring, creating layers of refraction as light passes through each cut sphere and bounces between neighbouring elements.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Atla pairs ambient and decorative function. The drop adjusts from 390mm to 1400mm on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set close to the ceiling in lower rooms or suspended deeper in taller spaces. The 450mm diameter suits rooms of 12-18m² without overwhelming furniture below. The polished chrome finish provides high reflectivity, amplifying the light output from the eight G9 bulbs (sold separately, max 33W each).

Each Asfour crystal sphere is machine-cut with precision faceting to maximise light dispersion and minimise colour distortion. The chrome frame holds the crystal strands on individual fixing points, so the chandelier can be partially disassembled for cleaning or bulb replacement without removing the entire fitting from the ceiling. The combined weight of 5.8kg requires installation into a ceiling joist or a reinforced ceiling rose — the fixture is not suitable for plasterboard ceilings without additional bracing.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The chandelier takes eight G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are not included. Most users pair this with LED G9 bulbs rated 3-5W at 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light, or higher-output halogen capsules where maximum brightness is needed.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 390mm to 1400mm. For a dining table the chandelier typically hangs 700-800mm above the surface, which suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. In taller entrance halls or double-height spaces the full 1400mm drop can be used.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the chandelier and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal sphere individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal fittings and do not use chemical sprays or polishes.
