Description
The Armand is a single-arm crystal wall light with a French gold finish, built around a faceted crystal sconce that sits at the base of the candle sleeve. Clear crystal strands drape from the arm and back plate, with a longer pendant drop hanging from the lower arm, creating vertical movement when the light catches the facets. The arm curves outward from a circular back plate and holds a single E14 candle bulb (sold separately, up to 60W).
Designed for hallways, bedroom alcoves, and either side of a chimney breast or mirror, the 210mm projection from the wall gives enough standoff for the crystal elements to be seen in profile without dominating narrow passages. The 440mm height suits standard wall mounting positions between 1.5-1.8m from the floor, where the downward-facing flame bulb provides both functional light and decorative presence. The light is dimmable when paired with a compatible E14 dimmable bulb and dimmer switch.
The French gold finish is a warm antique brass tone with slight patina, darker than polished brass but lighter than oil-rubbed bronze. This pairs with traditional interiors, warm wood furniture, and heritage colour schemes better than polished metals. The crystal elements are facet-cut to refract light into the surrounding wall surface when the bulb is lit, turning a simple single-bulb fitting into a focal point. At 0.7kg the fitting mounts to a standard UK single-gang back box or dedicated wall bracket.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Armand take?
The fitting takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED flame-tip candle bulb in warm white (2700K) to suit the traditional styling.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when paired with a dimmable E14 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer switch. The fitting itself is dimmer-compatible; dimming capability depends on the bulb choice.
How far does it project from the wall?
The arm projects 210mm from the wall surface, giving enough clearance for the crystal elements to be seen in profile without overwhelming narrow hallways or landings.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off at the mains and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal element with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal fittings or using household sprays.
