Description

The Arcus is a 3m recessed LED profile cover in white aluminium with a frosted plastic diffuser designed to protect LED strip installations while providing even light distribution. The profile is designed to be flush-mounted into ceilings, walls or joinery, with the diffuser sitting level with the surrounding surface once installed.

Designed for continuous LED strip runs in modern residential and commercial interiors, the Arcus suits kitchen plinths, under-cabinet lighting, ceiling cove installations, and architectural feature walls where concealed linear light is needed. The 25mm projection from the recessed mounting surface allows the profile to accommodate most standard LED strip widths (typically 8-12mm) with room for wiring and thermal management.

The white powder-coated aluminium extrusion acts as a heatsink, drawing heat away from the LED strip to maintain output and extend lifespan. The frosted diffuser softens the point-source effect of individual LED diodes, producing a continuous line of light rather than visible hotspots. Multiple 3m lengths can be joined end-to-end using connecting clips (sold separately) for longer runs up to 10m or more.

Does this include the LED strip?

No. The Arcus is a profile cover only. You will need to purchase LED strip tape separately, along with a suitable driver and any mounting clips or end caps required for your installation.

What LED strip width does it accept?

The 25mm internal projection accommodates most standard LED strip widths between 8mm and 12mm. Check the specific width of your chosen LED strip before ordering to ensure compatibility.

Can multiple lengths be joined?

Yes. Multiple 3m Arcus profiles can be joined end-to-end using aluminium connecting clips (sold separately). This allows continuous light runs of 6m, 9m or longer depending on your LED strip driver capacity and voltage drop limits.

How is the diffuser secured?

The frosted diffuser clips into the aluminium channel and can be removed for LED strip installation or maintenance. Once the strip is in place and wired, the diffuser clips back in to complete the installation.
