Description

The Arabella is a 406mm diameter drum pendant with a gold-finished filigree metal frame surrounding an ivory linen fabric shade and internal glass diffuser. The duo-mount canopy allows installation either as a pendant with adjustable drop from 343mm to 1321mm, or as a semi-flush ceiling fitting in rooms with lower ceilings. Two E27 bulb holders sit inside the drum, each rated to 60W maximum.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms, hallway landings and living spaces with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards, the Arabella pairs ambient and decorative function in a single fitting. The filigree outer frame casts geometric shadows on surrounding walls when lit, while the ivory fabric shade and glass diffuser soften the light into a warm, glare-free glow. The rod stem adjusts during installation by removing or adding sections, giving flexibility to match ceiling height to furniture placement.

The gold finish on the metal filigree carries a slight antique patina rather than high-polish brightness, giving the fitting warmth under both daylight and artificial light. The quatrefoil lattice pattern wraps around the full 406mm circumference, creating visual interest from any viewing angle. The fitting takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting in bedrooms or dining rooms.

Can it be installed as a semi-flush ceiling light?

Yes. The duo-mount canopy allows installation either as a pendant with adjustable drop or as a semi-flush fitting. In semi-flush configuration the fitting height is 203mm from ceiling to base, making it suitable for rooms with ceilings from 2.3m upwards.

How is the drop adjusted?

The rod stem adjusts during installation by removing or adding sections. The minimum drop is 343mm and the maximum is 1321mm. Adjustment requires access to the canopy wiring during fitting — it cannot be changed once the installation is complete without re-accessing the ceiling rose.
