Description

The Alexandra is a 400mm wide crystal wall light with three E14 fittings housed within a gold-finished frame supporting multiple tiers of faceted crystal droplets. A curved ring of densely packed small crystals forms the crown, beneath which hang rows of clear spherical and hexagonal crystals in graduating lengths, creating a cascading effect when lit.

Designed for spaces where wall-mounted decorative lighting is needed, the Alexandra suits hallways, dining room accent walls, bedroom feature walls and living room alcoves in homes with traditional or transitional interiors. The 220mm projection from the wall requires adequate clearance—best suited to walls where heads and shoulders pass at least 300mm away. The three bulbs sit behind the crystal tiers, so light reflects and refracts through the faceted surfaces rather than projecting directly forward.

The gold finish on the metal frame provides warmth that pairs with brass hardware, warm wood tones and cream or taupe wall colours. Each crystal element is individually hung on the frame, so the fitting arrives partially disassembled and requires attaching the crystal strands during installation. The 3.2kg weight is distributed across the wall plate—mount to a solid wall or timber stud rather than plasterboard alone. Asfour and Diyas crystals are machine-cut leaded glass with higher refractive indices than standard glass, giving sharper light dispersion.

Does it arrive fully assembled?

No. The metal frame and wall plate are pre-assembled, but the crystal strands arrive separately and are attached during installation. The process involves hooking individual crystal chains onto the frame—plan for 15-20 minutes of assembly time before wiring.
