Description

A small black grip with an 8mm thread, made to hold flex tidily where it meets a fitting. There is nothing to it beyond a threaded body and a gripping collar, and that plainness is the appeal: once fitted it holds the cord steady, so the flex runs where you intended rather than drifting or twisting. The black finish carries right through, which means it reads as part of a dark cord rather than as an added component sitting halfway up the drop.

We sell a great many of these to people finishing a pendant properly, whether that is a single bare lampholder over a kitchen island, a cluster of drops above a dining table, or a bedside light on a longer cord. It is the sort of small part that gets forgotten when a fitting is put together from separate pieces, and then missed the moment the cord starts to slip. The body is a moulded threaded component, light in the hand and slim enough to sit unobtrusively at the top of a drop.
