Description

The Knightsbridge SF2194MW is a 4-gang 2-way intelligent dimmer rated at 10-200W per gang for incandescent loads or 5-150W per gang for dimmable LED lamps. Each gang operates independently via a rotary push-on control knob that dims when rotated and switches on or off when pressed. The matt white screwless faceplate sits flush against the wall with no visible fixings, presenting as a single clean panel with four matching white dimmer knobs.

Designed for hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and open-plan spaces where four separate lighting circuits need individual dimming control, the intelligent circuitry automatically detects and adjusts to different load types. Each dimmer can switch between trailing-edge and leading-edge modes via the front control knob, making it compatible with most dimmable LED, CFL and incandescent lamps without needing to access the back box. The trim, mode switch and reset functions are all accessible from the front of the plate, allowing adjustments if lamp types are changed after installation.

Trailing-edge mode suits most modern dimmable LED lamps and electronic transformers. Leading-edge mode suits older incandescent, halogen and wire-wound transformer loads. The dimmer is preset in trailing-edge mode and can be switched to leading-edge via the front control knob if needed.

Can I mix different lamp brands on one gang?

No. Each gang must control lamps of the same brand, type and wattage. Mixing different brands or wattages on a single gang causes flickering, buzzing or failure to dim correctly. If you need to control mixed lamp types, use separate gangs for each type.

What back box depth is required?
