The antique brass square-edge faceplate sits flush with the wall on a premium-grade steel construction, with three rotary control knobs that push to switch on/off and turn to dim.

Designed for installation in living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms where three separate lighting circuits need independent dimming control from a single wall position, the dimmer allows each gang to be trimmed, mode-switched and reset from the front of the plate via the control knob. This makes it straightforward to adjust settings if lamps or fittings are changed without removing the plate or accessing rear terminals. The 2-way configuration allows the same lighting circuit to be controlled from two different wall positions when paired with a matching 2-way dimmer or switch.

The trailing-edge mode (factory preset) suits most dimmable LED and low-voltage halogen lamps, while the leading-edge mode provides compatibility with older incandescent, halogen and some magnetic transformer-based loads. Each gang includes overload and overheat protection plus an inrush current limiter to manage the initial power surge when switched on. What's the difference between trailing-edge and leading-edge modes?

Trailing-edge mode (factory preset) suits most dimmable LED lamps and low-voltage halogen with electronic transformers. Leading-edge mode suits older incandescent, mains-voltage halogen and magnetic transformer loads. Switch modes via the front control knob if you experience flickering or poor dimming performance.

Can I mix LED and halogen lamps on the same gang?

No. Each gang must control identical lamp types, brands and wattages. Mixing different technologies or wattages on the same circuit will cause flickering, buzzing or dimmer failure. Run separate circuits or use separate gangs for different lamp types.

What does 2-way mean?

2-way allows the same lighting circuit to be controlled from two different wall positions. Pair this dimmer with another 2-way dimmer or 2-way switch at the second location. For single-position control only, wire as a 1-way (consult a qualified electrician).

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The plate projects 10.5mm from the wall once installed. Deeper back boxes (35mm or 47mm) provide more cable management space but are not required for functionality.
