This Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate accepts either two 25 x 50mm euro modules or a single 50 x 50mm euro module behind a brushed chrome screwless cover plate. The faceplate is designed for custom AV and data installations where the exact combination of HDMI, USB, RJ45, coaxial, or telephone connections needs to be configured on-site by pairing the faceplate with separately purchased euro module inserts.

Designed for residential media walls, office workstations, hotel rooms and boardrooms, the faceplate suits installations where standard pre-configured sockets do not offer the required combination of connections. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible screws or fixings on the wall once fitted. The 87.5 x 87.5mm format matches standard UK 2-gang dimensions and fits a double 35mm back box.

The brushed chrome finish is a directionally brushed stainless-look steel that reduces fingerprints and glare compared to polished chrome, and pairs well with contemporary interiors, grey-toned kitchens and office environments. The faceplate includes an earth terminal and an integrated gasket that sits between the cover plate and the wall surface to prevent the plate rattling or flexing once installed. The required back box depth depends on the euro modules chosen — modules with deeper rear housings (such as HDMI couplers or USB chargers) may need a 47mm back box rather than the standard 35mm.

The faceplate accepts either two 25 x 50mm euro modules side-by-side, or a single 50 x 50mm euro module. Knightsbridge produces compatible modules for HDMI, USB, RJ45 data, coaxial TV, telephone, speaker terminals and blank plates. Euro modules are sold separately.

What back box depth is required?

A standard 35mm double back box is sufficient for most euro modules. Deeper modules such as HDMI couplers or USB chargers with rear housings may require a 47mm back box. Check the specification of your chosen euro modules before installation.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the faceplate and re-clipped without disturbing the euro modules or wiring.
