Description
A screwless plate in plum, deep and warm against a white wall, with chrome detail picking out the rocker switches. Behind it sit two switched sockets rated at 13A along with USB-A and USB-C ports that share up to 65W between them. That shared budget is enough to bring a laptop back up while a phone charges alongside, and the rockers let either side be switched off without unplugging anything. With no screw heads across the face, the colour runs uninterrupted from edge to edge.
We reach for a socket like this wherever a charging brick would otherwise sit permanently in one half of a double: bedside tables, kitchen worktops, a desk in the spare room, the hallway shelf where phones and headsets collect. It suits a household running a mix of older and newer cables, the A port still serving leads that have not been replaced while the C port takes care of current phones, tablets and slim laptops. Set into a plum or aubergine wall it more or less vanishes; against pale paint or paper it reads as a small piece of colour rather than a blank white square.
The plate is polycarbonate over metal internals, earthed, and finished in colour throughout the moulding rather than applied as a thin skin. Cleaning asks very little: a dry cloth across the plate now and then, and no sprays or damp cloths near the ports or the rocker faces. It belongs in dry rooms indoors, running on an ordinary household mains supply, and it carries a ten year warranty. Because the colour is the point, it looks best where the other plates on the same wall match it, so a run of switches and sockets in one shade reads as a deliberate choice instead of an accident. Plugs and cables are not included.

Frequently Asked
What does the 65W rating mean across the two USB ports?
The 65W figure is shared between the USB-A and the USB-C port, so a single device drawing hard will take the bulk of it, while two devices charging together divide it.
How big is the faceplate?
It measures 146mm across and 85mm tall, with a depth of 35mm behind the plate.
What is it made from?
Polycarbonate for the plate and body, with metal used for the internal components. It is a Class 1 fitting, so an earth connection is required.
Can each socket be switched off separately?
Yes. Each of the two sockets has its own rocker switch, rated at 13A.
How should I clean it?
Wipe the plate with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid household cleaners, polishes and anything damp, particularly around the USB ports and the switch rockers.
Is it suitable for a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is intended for dry indoor rooms only, so kitchens, bedrooms, hallways and offices rather than wet areas or exterior walls.
