Description

Colour is the point here. The plate comes in a strong orange with chrome rockers, and the screwless front keeps the face clean. It is a two gang switched socket with a USB-A and a USB-C port sitting between them, so a phone or a tablet can charge while the sockets stay free for the kettle or a lamp. Each socket is rated at 13A, and the USB ports share a 15W supply, so a port charging on its own draws the full amount.

We fit these where a socket is on show rather than hidden behind furniture: kitchen worktops, a desk in a home office, a bedside run, a workshop bench, a child's room where colour is welcome. No. The 15W output is shared between the USB-A and the USB-C port. Use one port alone and it takes the full 15W; use both together and the power is split.
