Description

The Knightsbridge 2-gang blanking plate covers unused or redundant electrical boxes behind a brushed chrome flat plate measuring 147.5mm wide by 87.5mm high. The plate is fixed to the wall with two visible screws through the faceplate and includes a built-in gasket that sits between the plate and the wall to seal the back box opening.

Designed for residential and commercial use where electrical boxes have been left in place after rewiring or where future outlets may be needed, the blanking plate provides a finished appearance and prevents debris entering the back box. The 2.5mm projection from the wall once fitted makes this one of the lowest-profile plates in the Knightsbridge range, sitting nearly flush with the wall surface.

The brushed chrome finish has a directional grain texture that softens reflections and pairs with both contemporary and traditional interiors. The premium-grade steel construction provides rigidity to prevent the plate flexing when the fixing screws are tightened.
