How does the nightlight activate?

A built-in photocell sensor monitors ambient light. When room light falls below 5-15 lux, the LED switches on automatically. When light rises above 20-40 lux, the LED switches off. No manual switching or timers are needed.

What colour is the nightlight?

What back box depth is required?

A minimum 25mm back box depth is needed, with 25-35mm suitable depending on cable routing and wiring conditions. The socket projects 7mm from the wall once the screwless cover plate is fitted.

Can the nightlight be disabled?

No. The photocell-controlled LED is an integral function of this socket model and activates automatically whenever ambient light drops below the sensor threshold. If a nightlight is not required, select a standard socket without this feature from the Knightsbridge range.
