The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang DP switched socket presents a brushed chrome flat plate with a black insert and matching rocker switch. The flat plate construction sits just 2.5mm proud of the wall surface, making it one of the lowest-profile socket designs available and suitable for installations where projection needs to be minimised.

Designed for residential and commercial use, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses double-pole switching to isolate both live and neutral lines when switched off. This provides additional safety over single-pole switching for appliances that draw higher loads or remain plugged in when not in use. The built-in gasket between the plate and the wall ensures a flush fit and prevents the plate tilting or rocking once installed.

The brushed chrome finish is applied to premium-grade steel, giving a mid-sheen metallic surface that softens reflections compared to polished chrome while remaining resistant to fingerprints and everyday marks. The black insert behind the chrome faceplate hides the back of the cover plate when no plug is inserted, maintaining a clean appearance.
