Description
The Knightsbridge LEDFRA6 is a wireless RF controller and touch remote for RGBW LED strip lighting, operating on 12V or 24V DC systems. The controller handles up to 288W on 12V installations or 576W on 24V installations, enough to drive approximately 5 metres of high-density RGBW strip at 12V or 10 metres at 24V depending on strip wattage per metre. The wireless RF signal operates up to 30 metres line-of-sight between the remote and controller.
Designed for residential, hospitality and retail LED strip installations where colour-changing or tuneable white lighting is needed without wired wall controls, the system allows users to select from the full RGBW colour spectrum via the touch remote's colour wheel interface. The remote includes brightness control, dynamic mode selection, and speed adjustment for colour-changing effects. The controller unit sits between the power supply and the LED strip, typically concealed in a ceiling void, under-cabinet space or behind furniture.
The controller measures 85mm x 45mm x 23mm in a white polycarbonate housing rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. Four output terminals on the controller connect to the RGBW strip's four channels (red, green, blue, white), while input terminals connect to the 12V or 24V DC power supply. The touch remote requires two AAA batteries (not included) and features a colour wheel printed on the faceplate with capacitive touch zones for brightness, mode and speed control below the wheel.
