Description
The Knightsbridge LEDFRA7 is an RF wireless dimmer controller for single-colour 12V or 24V LED strip installations, supplied with a touch-panel remote that controls brightness levels from up to 20 metres away. The controller sits inline between the LED driver and the strip, receiving wireless signals from the remote to adjust output intensity from 0-100%.
Designed for under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting, display cases and architectural strip installations where physical wall switches are impractical, the controller allows dimming control without running additional cable runs back to a fixed dimmer position. The touch remote features an on/off toggle, brightness up/down controls, and preset brightness memory. The RF signal works through walls and furniture, so the remote does not require line-of-sight to the controller unit.
The controller handles loads up to 216W at 12V or 432W at 24V, supporting typical residential LED strip runs of 10-15 metres depending on the strip's wattage per metre. The pressed steel housing measures 84mm x 81mm x 32mm and fixes to surfaces via two mounting slots on the base plate. The unit carries an IP20 rating, suitable for dry indoor locations only. The remote requires three AAA batteries (not included).

Frequently Asked
What's the maximum LED strip length this can control?
The controller handles up to 216W at 12V or 432W at 24V. A typical 12V LED strip at 14.4W per metre can run approximately 15 metres through this controller. Higher-wattage strips reduce the maximum length proportionally.
Does the remote need line-of-sight to the controller?
No. The RF signal works through walls, cabinet panels and furniture within the 20-metre detection range. The controller does not need to be visible from the remote position.
Can multiple remotes control one controller?
The controller can be paired with additional remotes of the same type, allowing control from multiple locations. See the product manual for pairing instructions.
Is this suitable for bathroom installations?
No. The IP20 rating means the controller is designed for dry indoor locations only. For bathrooms or wet environments, an IP65-rated controller is required.
