Description

The Knightsbridge LFCON2X is a 4-way X-connector designed for single-colour 8mm LED flex strips operating at 12V or 24V. The connector allows four separate LED flex segments to meet at a central junction point, creating symmetrical grid layouts, branching patterns, or multi-directional lighting runs without additional wiring or soldering.

Suited to retail display lighting, under-cabinet installations, architectural accent lighting, and residential LED flex projects, the connector enables lighting paths to split or converge at 90-degree angles from a central hub. Each of the four arms accepts an 8mm single-colour LED flex strip via a separate push-fit connector (sold separately as LFCON2SS or LFCON2P), which clips onto the copper contact pads and secures the flex mechanically and electrically.

The connector body measures 24mm x 24mm with a 0.3mm profile, sitting flush against mounting surfaces once the flex is installed. Constructed from copper with a white finish, it remains visually unobtrusive beneath or alongside the LED flex itself. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments, while the Class III designation confirms it operates at extra-low voltage (12V or 24V DC) for safe handling during installation.

This X-connector requires four separate strip-to-strip connectors to secure each LED flex segment to the copper pads. Knightsbridge models LFCON2SS and LFCON2P are compatible. Each flex segment needs its own connector.

Is this compatible with RGB or colour-changing LED flex?

No. This connector is designed specifically for single-colour 8mm LED flex. RGB and RGBW flex require multi-channel connectors with additional contact points for separate colour control.

Can this be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from moisture. For bathrooms or outdoor installations, a higher IP-rated connector and compatible LED flex are required.

What voltage does this support?
