Description

The Knightsbridge LFCON2T is a 3-way T-connector for joining 8mm single-colour LED flex at 12V/24V installations. The connector links three separate LED flex runs at a single junction point, allowing one incoming feed to split into two outgoing branches or two feeds to merge into one continuous run. Built from copper with a white finish, the connector measures 30mm × 19mm with a 0.3mm profile.

Designed for under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting and architectural accent installations where LED flex needs to branch or merge at right angles, the T-connector pairs with Knightsbridge LED flex strip-to-strip connectors (sold separately) for solder-free joining. The connector can be oriented to create right-hand or left-hand corner configurations depending on which of the three terminals receives the incoming feed. Installation requires no soldering — the strip-to-strip connectors clip onto the T-connector terminals and grip the LED flex copper pads.

The copper construction maintains consistent conductivity across all three junctions, preventing voltage drop or brightness variation at the T-junction when correctly installed with appropriate gauge flex and power supply. The white finish blends with white LED flex backing or painted surfaces in ceiling coves and cabinet underhangs. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations — the connector is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor installations or any environment where moisture is present.

The connector is designed for 8mm single-colour LED flex only. It is not compatible with RGB, dual-white or wider LED flex formats.

Do I need additional components to join the flex?

Yes. The T-connector requires Knightsbridge LED flex strip-to-strip connectors (sold separately) to join the LED flex to each of the three terminals. The strip-to-strip connectors clip onto the T-connector terminals and grip the copper pads on the LED flex.

Can this be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor installation.
