Description

This Knightsbridge IP65 strip-to-strip connector links two sections of 10mm single-colour LED flex with a 150mm cable run between them, allowing LED strips to extend around corners, across cabinet joins, or between separated mounting surfaces without a visible gap. The connector accepts 12V or 24V single-colour LED flex strips and uses polycarbonate click-fit housings at each end to grip the strip without soldering or tools.

Designed for kitchen under-cabinet lighting, retail display cases, architectural cove lighting and sheltered outdoor installations, the connector maintains IP65 moisture resistance when correctly fitted. The 150mm cable gives enough reach to route between surfaces that aren't directly adjacent, such as two wall-mounted shelves or L-shaped cabinet runs. The black polycarbonate housing blends into typical LED strip installations and the Class III rating confirms low-voltage safety.

Each connector end clips onto the copper contact pads on the LED strip, holding the strip securely while making electrical contact. For installations in high-humidity environments or where the IP65 rating must be guaranteed long-term, the connector housings can be reinforced with silicone sealant (sold separately) applied around the strip entry points. The 190mm overall length includes the housings at each end plus the 150mm cable span.

What width LED strip does this fit?

The connector is designed for 10mm-wide single-colour LED flex strips. It will not fit RGB or RGBW strips, which use different contact pad configurations.

Is the connector weatherproof?

The connector carries an IP65 rating, which protects against low-pressure water jets and dust ingress when correctly fitted. For long-term outdoor use or high-humidity environments, apply silicone sealant around the strip entry points to reinforce the seal.

Does it require soldering or tools?

No. The polycarbonate housings use a click-fit mechanism that grips the LED strip and makes electrical contact with the copper pads. Insert the strip into the housing and press the clip shut.

Can it be used with both 12V and 24V strips?

Yes. The connector is passive and simply carries the voltage from one strip section to the next, so it works with both 12V and 24V single-colour LED flex.
