Description

This Knightsbridge wire-to-strip connector joins a power cable to 10mm single-colour LED flex using a clip-in polycarbonate housing rated at IP65. The connector accepts 12V or 24V low-voltage input and requires no soldering or specialist tools — the LED strip slots into one end, the wire into the other, and spring-loaded contacts make the electrical connection when the cover clips shut.

Designed for bathrooms, kitchens, under-cabinet installations and covered outdoor areas where moisture ingress is a concern, the IP65 rating protects the electrical contacts from water jets and dust. The 26mm length and 15mm width give a compact footprint that fits into shallow installation gaps behind pelmets, inside aluminium extrusions, and under wall-mounted cabinets. The short cable tail allows neat routing around corners without exposing bare strip ends.

The polycarbonate body resists minor impacts and UV degradation better than standard PVC housings. For installations subject to frequent splashing or submersion, applying a bead of silicone sealant (sold separately) around the cable entry and strip entry points strengthens the IP65 seal. The connector is compatible with Knightsbridge LFC24IPxx series single-colour LED flex and other 10mm-wide single-colour strips using the same contact spacing.
