Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX fan isolator switch provides triple-pole isolation for bathroom extractor fans, utility room ventilation and other fan units that need to be isolated independently of the lighting circuit. The matt black screwless faceplate measures 87.5mm square and clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible screws or fixings on the wall once fitted.

Designed for bathrooms, en-suites, utility rooms and other spaces where an extractor fan requires dedicated switching, the triple-pole configuration isolates fan, live and neutral lines simultaneously when switched to the 'OFF' position. This allows the fan circuit to be isolated for maintenance or cleaning without switching off the lighting circuit. The built-in gasket behind the faceplate provides additional protection against moisture ingress in humid environments.

The switch requires a 16mm minimum mounting box depth, making it suitable for shallow back boxes in stud walls and plasterboard installations where deeper metal boxes cannot fit. The premium-grade steel construction carries IP20 rating for general interior use and is certified to EN 60669-1 and EN 60669-2-4 standards. Knightsbridge backs the switch with a 25-year warranty.
