Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 3-gang 2-way switch provides independent control of three lighting circuits from two separate locations, behind a polished chrome screwless faceplate with matching metal rockers. The 10AX rating handles lighting loads up to 2,300W per gang on 230V circuits, covering multiple spotlights, chandeliers or combined room lighting.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the switch fits a shallow 16mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This removes visible screws from the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The 2-way switching configuration allows the same three circuits to be controlled from two different wall positions — typically at opposite ends of a hallway, staircase or large room.

The polished chrome finish is a high-gloss mirror surface cut from premium-grade steel, giving a reflective metallic accent that pairs well with contemporary, Art Deco and chrome-detailed bathroom or kitchen interiors. The metal rockers match the faceplate finish and provide a solid mechanical feel when switching. A built-in gasket around the perimeter of the back plate prevents dust ingress behind the faceplate, and the switch carries IP20 rating for dry indoor use. Certified to EN 60669-1 and backed by a 25-year warranty.
